The Club land covers 51.4 hectares of which some 16 hectares is fine turf area comprising the actual golf course. The course is very well maintained with access to water for all year round irrigation that enables the greens to be kept in top condition. Complementing the course are the many bird life and a selection of kangaroos who feed on the grass as golfers walk. The course is open every day except Christmas Day and attracts some 30,000 rounds of golf each year.
Carved through 101 hectares of established pine forest, The Pines features narrow, tree-lined fairways and 14 holes contoured around six man-made lakes, offering both strategic complexity and stunning scenery. The course is home to abundant wildlife, including native kangaroos and rare bird species, enhancing its natural allure.
The par-71 layout spans approximately 5,790 meters from the championship tees. Notable holes include the 7th, a 375-meter dogleg par 4 with a blind tee shot descending into a steep fairway, and the 8th, a picturesque par 3 surrounded by a 35-megalitre irrigation dam nestled against native bushland.
